Company Audition Requirements: ·         A current resume of your dance history and a current photograph ·         A signed Company Audition Application Company Rules and Standards Behavior: Show respect for the art form, respect for instructors, and respect for fellow dancers. Attendance: Company members are expected to attend classes on a regular basis and must participate in all mandatory rehearsals for shows.  Absences need to be excused prior to classes missed. Work Ethic: Company members will be on time to class, will be in required dress code, will exhibit proper class etiquette and will work hard without complaint or attitude. Representation: Company members represent Mestizo Dance Company, therefore, member’s behavior in and out of the studio will reflect Mestizo Dance Company’s standards of excellence. Mestizo Dance Company will not tolerate any illegal or disrespectful behavior from anyone at any time. CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE * You MUST be at least 18 years or older • A serious commitment to dance training on Tuesday and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. • A potential for meeting the technical standards of Mestizo’s professional training program. • We do accept students who are untrained but have talent and potential. • An articulate body promising significant development in dance. • Demonstrated musicality.
